The Education Undergraduate Society (EUS) is a student-led organization representing and supporting students in the School of Education at Red Deer Polytechnic. We advocate for Education students at the program and school council levels, and we connect our members to professional communities and opportunities.
The EUS is proud to be ATA Student Local No. 3, affiliated with the Alberta Teachers’ Association. For every membership purchased, $1 is contributed to the ATA, which provides pre-service teachers with access to resources, conferences, and legal guidance throughout their studies.
One of our primary goals is to help future teachers build the skills and experiences that make them strong candidates for employment after graduation. We offer Professional Development Sessions throughout the year, each designed to extend learning beyond course requirements. Members receive a certificate of completion to document their participation and learning.
We also encourage and support volunteer involvement, including opportunities such as tutoring, campus service, and community engagement. Volunteer hours can be formally recognized through EUS service certificates, strengthening professional portfolios.
Your EUS Membership is what you make it — get involved, build your experience, and be part of our Education community.
